The Centre for Climate Change and Human Settlements at the Department of Environmental Planning addresses the need for mainstreaming climate responsive approach in planning and design of Human Settlements.
 
Objectives
  • The of the Centre have been framed to fulfil the above through formulation, collation and dissemination of database, conducting research studies, learning from best practices, organizing seminars and extending training and advisory inputs in the areas related to climate change and human settlements.
  • Two workshops were conducted in 2012 by the center.
